After an acrimonious divorce from Amber Heard that played out in the media, it is no surprise that Johnny Depp wants to divest himself of the five adjacent downtown Los Angeles penthouses where the couple resided during their short marriage (February 3, 2015 to August 16, 2016).

So, the Pirates of the Carribean star, who will reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the fifth installment in the franchise, Dead Men Tell No Tales, in 2017, has listed the properties for sale with Partners Trust.

Depp acquired the five, multi-storied, side-by-side penthouse units over a period of years after the building had been refurbished in 2007. Decorated in his unique style, he never joined the units, but he did install doorways to connect three of the units together. Of the remaining two, one functioned as an art studio and the other as a guest suite.

As a result, the collection of units can be resold as a whole or individually. The sale includes five condo units: four two-bedrooms and a one-bedroom, totaling approximately 11,500 square feet.

The 13-story Eastern Columbia Building where the condo units are housed was designed by Claud Beelman in 1930, and is considered to be the city’s best example of Art Deco architecture still standing.

Depp, who had a long relationship with French singer-actress Vanessa Paradis, had also purchased an entire French village during their time together, which is now on the market at $55.5 million. Not for sale is his private island in the Bahamas.
