If The Beatles were ever out of the media limelight, they are certainly making a comeback in 2016. From Beat Bugs, a new children’s series on Netflix, introducing The Beatles’ songbook to a whole new generation to Ron Howard’s highly anticipated documentary “Eight Days a Week — The Touring Years” on Hulu, The Beatles have never been more prevalent. What’s a better way to celebrate the Fab Four than with a LEGO set of their own?
Journey back to Pepperland with a yellow submarine and minifigs of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr (why is Ringo always last?) The cockpit seats four comfortably, although I’m not sure where Jeremy (minifig also included) would sit. Accessories also include John’s telescope, Paul’s ‘Love’ tile, Ringo’s ‘half a hole’ tile, George’s submarine motor and Jeremy’s apple!
