Hearties, rejoice! The wait is almost over!
When Calls the Heart Christmas is just weeks away. Premiering on Christmas Day at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, the two-hour sneak peek into the new season follows the townsfolk of Hope Valley after a peddler comes to town to sell his wares. The intriguing peddler not only sells his trinkets but also ends up teaching the citizens of Hope Valley valuable lessons about joy and giving.
When the townspeople realize that recently displaced settlers in the area will not have a proper Christmas, they come together to create a special holiday celebration – including a Nativity presentation from the schoolchildren — that will infuse everyone with the true spirit of Christmas. There’s even a romantic “Mountie Ball” for Jack and Elizabeth, our young couple in love.
Currently filming the next season of the show, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow as Elizabeth Thatcher, a privileged city-raised woman who journeys to the country to teach the youth of Hope Valley. Daniel Lissing stars as Jack Thornton, the Mountie who is posted to Hope Valley and captures Elizabeth’s heart. The show also stars Lori Loughlin and Jack Wagner. The fourth season of the show is set to premiere in 2017.
