In Hollywood, as in most places in America, the majority of women are paid less than their male counterparts for doing the very same job. In fact, according to The National Partnership for Women & Families, the current gender wage gap is 20 percent.

But leave it to Rogue One: A Stars Wars Story star Felicity Jones to kick down the paycheck barrier: her seven-figure salary for playing Rebel fighter Jyn Erson was significantly more than any other cast member—male or female—according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Movie Review: Rogue One Is Rollicking Prequel to Original Star Wars Saga

Jones seems to be taking the ample payday—and the fact that she’s a woman playing the lead in a powerful action film that is part of one of the most popular series of all time—in stride.

“We’re there now,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “We’re there now.”

No doubt her impressive resume, which includes an Oscar nomination for playing physicist Stephen Hawking’s wife Jane in The Theory of Everything, contributed to her more than sufficient salary for her Rogue One role as an ex-con who leads the Rebels on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star.

Thanks to Jones for moving the equal pay needle up a notch.
