Monday night was the final night of Knockout Rounds on The Voice, and longtime coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine and newbies Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus finalized their teams.
They had a lot of help from key advisers Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who worked with each of the coaches and the remaining contestants to get them ready for the competition. Parade.com has a behind-the-scenes look at what you didn’t see when the coaches, advisers and competitors all came together for hard work — and also some fun.
The next step is the Live Rounds, which will begin on Monday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, during which the Top 20 will compete for the first time for America’s votes to win the title The Voice.
On Monday night, the entire Top 20 will perform, knowing that eight of them will be eliminated to make the Top 12. For the first time, the talent competition will set up a real-time vote on The Voice app and Twitter. The results of that vote will advance two artists per team into the Top 12 with the results being announced the same night.
But first, tonight, The Voice takes a look back at Season 11, starting with the Blind Auditions, followed by the Battle Rounds and finally the Knockout Rounds, highlighting the best moments from the season so far in an original jam-packed special chronicling the journey of the Top 20.
The Road to the Live Shows special airs tonight on The Voice at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
