The mystery surrounding whether or not Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have already exchanged vows is something of a romantic whodunnit. The reality star and her rapper fiancé are rumored to have tied the knot over the weekend, but according to Kardashian, the rumors are false!
The 33-year-old told her fans via Twitter that she and West have not yet said “I do,” and went on to set the record straight on a number of wedding-related rumors.

Toward the end of last week, news began swirling that the couple was planning on getting their marriage license before their wedding on May 24, but on Sunday a source told Life & Style that Kardashian and West are already married. “Kim and Kanye are now married on paper. They got their license in California over the past few days,” the source said. “Kim and North are on their way to NYC now.”
Speculation that the Kimye nuptials were happening over the weekend began last week when TMZ reported that the couple was planning to eschew the public’s expectations and say “I do” in a private ceremony in their home sometime last week. Then, about a month down the road, the couple will have a “lavish, blow-out wedding” in Paris.
It turns out People and E! Online were at least partially right, as their sources confirmed that Kardashian and West had not yet wed.
One thing fans can be assured of? When the lovebirds do tie the knot, it will be an “intimate” affair, Kardashian told Vogue. ”People are probably assuming we’re going to have this massive wedding, and I think it will be—but intimate. Two hundred people—just all of our closest friends—a special night for us and all the people that really love us and that have supported us.”
At the annual Met Gala on Monday night, Kardashian and West looked as dapper as ever as they gazed lovingly into each others’ eyes on the red carpet.
