The Voice returned Monday night with all-new contestants singing their hearts out during the first round of Blind Auditions for Season 11, hoping to get one of the coaches to press their buzzer and turn their chair around.
Original coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are back in the big, red, swivel chairs at opposite ends, while new coaches Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys fill in the middle, taking over the seats vacated by Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera.
If you’re worried that the banter, which makes The Voice so fun to watch, will be missing this season because of the changes, Parade.com has this exclusive video of outtakes, entitled, “Because You’re an Idiot,” featuring some very funny moments that should reassure you.
In the video, Blake teases Alicia he isn’t hitting his button unless she hits hers, because his plan is to steal people from her; Blake mocks Adam about looking like a limo driver in his suit; Adam tries to convince Blake that nothing Blake says ever bothers him, and Adam shames the audience, causing Blake to translate what he’s saying.
If you missed Monday night’s show, here’s a look at Ali, a contestant who got a 4-chair turn.
The Blind Auditions continue tonight when The Voice returns at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
