Comedian Jerry Lewis, the face of the Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon and the fight to find a cure for the debilitating disease, has been feature on our cover more than a dozen times since 1984.
Lewis champion research during the annual MDA telethon held each year on Labor Day weekend for nearly 50 years. The MDA discontinued the telethon in 2015.
Now, Jerry Lewis is back in the spotlight for his new movie, Max Rose, now playing in select theaters.
