The Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher is engaged! In the final episode of Season 12, JoJo had whittled down her choices to the final two men: Robby Hayes and Jordan Rodgers. So who is her brand-new fiancé? Jordan turned out to be the man in whom she saw her future.
“I don’t know if I can pinpoint the exact moment I knew he was The One,” JoJo told Parade.com. “I think when it came down to that last day, I was, obviously, so distraught that I was saying goodbye to a man [Robbie] I really cared for. Regardless that I knew that I wanted to spend my life with Jordan, it was still really tough. I think at the end of the day, when I sat down, I could never envision myself saying goodbye to Jordan. That is how I knew who I wanted to spend my life with.”
Luckily for JoJo, Jordan agreed, and when she handed him the final rose, he dropped down on one knee on the beach in Thailand and proposed.
“I knew I was in love with her after our first one-on-one date,” he told Parade.com. “I told her on our second. I knew I wanted to propose after hometown dates, seeing her with my family and feeling so good about that. That is when I knew she was the one I wanted to spend my life with for sure.”
For the proposal, Jordan picked out a handcrafted, platinum ring, centrally set with an oval-shaped diamond and a diamond-encrusted band set with 155 smaller round diamonds. The total diamond weight is 3 carats.
Jordan will be moving to Dallas, JoJo’s hometown, where they will move into a home together as they plan their wedding.
“Whether or not, we want it small or big, I have the biggest family and I know my mom already has the largest list of people to invite already,” JoJo admitted. “It will probably be big. I have actually started sending Jordan — this is embarrassing — Pinterest photos of weddings. I like an outdoors, rustic-y wedding.”
Jordan is in agreement with an outdoors wedding, and he goes one step further, saying he will invite his estranged brother Aaron.
“There is no scenario in which I wouldn’t want my entire family at a wedding, so, absolutely, that is something our family wants and hopes for at some point, so it is going to be a big wedding,” he says. “There will be a lot of people there. We can’t wait to take a deep breath in a few days, get settled in Dallas and start planning that.”
JoJo and Jordan both want to make it clear that they are not broken up, which is the latest rumor that is out there about them.
“We don’t want to have to defend ourselves,” she says. “Since we are able to be together now, our relationship will speak for itself and that is what we are most looking forward to.”
Next for the newly engaged couple is furniture shopping for their new home. JoJo has a sofa picked out at Crate & Barrel, but Jordan won’t let her buy it until he sits on it. And he has to meet her dog Jackson and win him over.
“He is going to be my best friend,” Jordan says.

He professed his love, saying, “I love you so much. I fell in love first with just us, just the person I could be right away with you. You challenged me and continue to challenge me to be the best version of myself. And I love that. You made me believe that love doesn’t need to have script. There’s not one way to draw it up.
“Those moments like this, where I’m holding your hand and I’m looking into your eyes, I know I’m so unbelievably in love with you. You’re my best friend. You’re my soul mate. I’m going to keep you safe, I’m going to protect you, I’m going to wake up every morning and choose you over and over and over again until you tell me I can’t.”
To which JoJo responded, “I love you so much. I’ve been waiting to tell you that I love you. I didn’t want you to get down on one knee until you knew that.”
