Does anyone ever really die on Game of Thrones? In this season alone we saw Jon Snow come back from the dead as well as the Hound, who we presumed was dead after his fight with Brienne.
In the last episode, the Hound was trying to walk a more righteous path but after the massacre of the townsfolk he looks like he’s back to his old ways.
Cersei and her mountainous bodyguard face off with the one of the High Sparrow’s minions as Tyrion hatches plans that might grow bigger than Daenerys’s dragons.
Arya barely escaped from that Mean Girl after she was stabbed several times. She walks through town looking like a drowned rat bleeding from her gut and no one stops to help her. Poor thing. Will she ever catch a break? Is this the end for our little girl Stark?
And wait! Brienne and Jaime are back together again! (Cue Harry Nilsson‘s “Best Friend” song.) Well, not really together like they once were on their little road trip a couple of seasons ago. This time they’re on opposite sides and it appears they might butt heads (as well as swords). Jaime is planning to seize a castle everyone seems to want but no one knows why. Let’s be honest, it’s not that impressive of a castle, is it?
I would love to see a scene with the The Mountain and Tyrion. I’m not sure how they would frame a shot like that with the 6-foot-9 giant and the 4-foot-5 diminutive actor, but that exchange would be fun to watch.
Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
