The 2016 Billboard Music Awards took place Sunday night at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, hosted by Ciara and Grammy Award winner Ludacris, and were broadcast live on ABC.

“The Billboard Music Awards is one of best award shows to honor chart success. My great friend Ludacris and I have also shared songs together on the Billboard chart,” said Ciara. “I look forward to sharing the stage with him on this special night. It will definitely be a night to remember!”

“It is my honor to host the Billboard Music Awards for the third year and a pleasure to host with my good friend Ciara,” said Ludacris. “I’m looking forward to another great show in a new and exciting venue.”

Performers on this year’s show were Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, DNCE, The Go-Go’s, Ariana Grande, Lukas Graham, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes, P!nk, “Kia’s One to Watch” Troye Sivan, Britney Spears, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, and collaborations with Fifth Harmony featuring Ty Dolla $ign, and Nick Jonas with Tove Lo. Madonna paid tribute to Prince and Adele‘s new music video made its worldwide debut.

This year’s awards presenters included Jessica Alba, Kate Beckinsale, Kristen Bell, Priyanka Chopra, Laverne Cox, Mark Cuban, Kathryn Hahn, Lucy Hale, Halsey, Wiz Khalifa, Heidi Klum, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Idina Menzel, Keke Palmer, Rebecca Romijn, Kelly Rowland, Seal, Tyrese, Steven Tyler, Lindsey Vonn, Pete Wentz and Zendaya.
