A: Ferguson, 40, voices the Shangri Llama in Ice Age: Collison Course, in theaters July 22. But he is spending this summer’s Modern Family hiatus on Broadway starring in Fully Committed. He plays all the roles—and there are 40 of them—in the play about an out-of-work actor who takes reservations at a trendy New York restaurant. “I’m using so many different intonations in my voice,” the five-time Emmy nominee says. “It’s like singing. It can be really challenging to make that believable.”
