I love that Michael Shannon is going to play Elvis in Elvis & Nixon. Was he a fan?

A: Yes! Shannon says the King was a “human jukebox” who tapped into his own love of music. The Lexington, Ky., native, 41, portrays Presley on the surreal day in 1970 when he met with President Nixon (Kevin Spacey) at the White House and was sworn in as an honorary agent in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. Elvis & Nixon will be released in theaters April 22.
