Can you believe it’s already the end of Season 3 of When Calls the Heart?
In the Season 3 finale “Prayers from the Heart” premiering Sunday, April 10 at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel, the people of Hope Valley mobilize to come to the aid of the miners trapped in the mudslide. As Jack leads a rescue team of Frank, Lee, Jesse and others out to the mine to find survivors, Elizabeth, Abigail and Faith turn the schoolhouse into a makeshift infirmary. As they watch Jack ride off, a worried Elizabeth and Charlotte come to understand each other through the crisis. Abigail takes on the difficult task of informing the settlement families about the disaster and is solemnly reminded of Hope Valley’s own mining tragedy – and the loss of her husband and son.
While Bill takes off in search of a friend in trouble, he discovers Nora and Gowen, who is gravely injured after their car accident. Back in town, with her wedding so close, Rosemary ultimately and unexpectedly makes a selfless gesture for the sake of the injured.
Before all can recover, a new danger strikes and one of Hope Valley’s own is perilously left behind. With the odds against them, the strength of this small town is tested as they pour all their hearts and prayers into a fight for survival, before coming together for a celebration of love that promises a bright future for all in Hope Valley.
Will Jesse prove his worth to Clara as he helps with the rescue efforts? Will Rip save the day? Where is that handsome doctor when you need him?
