Stars Celebrate the Academy of Country Music Awards on Twitter

The biggest names in country music came together Sunday for the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs). Held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the show was hosted by Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley. In one highlight, Dolly Parton and Katy Perry performed a medley of songs including “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors” and “9 to 5.” “I don’t come out for anyone but when Dolly calls… I pick up,” said Perry backstage to the press before singing with the legend. “I’ve wanted this to happen for years. I dreamt a big dream and now it’s being realized.” And Parton, who received the Tex Ritter Award for her 2015 television film Coat of Many Colors added, “I don’t think we’re going to strip or anything. But you never know.”
