Now, reports have surfaced that Gwen Stefani may take Aguilera’s place for season 7. According to The Hollywood Reporter, multiple sources have said the No Doubt singer is “in talks” to join The Voice for season 7, though Aguilera is expected to return for season 8.
NBC has not officially confirmed or denied the rumors. Last month, they did confirm that Pharrell Williams, who collaborated with Stefani on her iconic hit “Hollaback Girl,” will replace CeeLo Green on the coaching panel.
