Animal Planet’s annual canine competition is back. Puppy Bowl XII will feature adoptable pups from 44 different shelters around the country battling it out on the faux field. The network is also partnering with the Pro Football Hall of Fame to introduce the Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame, which honors legacy players throughout Puppy Bowl and to promote the adoption of older “veteran” animals in addition to puppies and kittens. Tailgate starts at 2:30 p.m. ET, game at 3.
