Snoop Dogg, Kendall Jenner, Aisha Tyler, Brandi Glanville and Kym Whitley join Khloé Kardashian for the premiere night of Kocktails with Khloé, a new live-to-tape talk show that is packed with the type of real conversations, games and fun that happen at Khloé’s actual home parties.

“My sisters always say, ‘I don’t know how you got away with asking that question,'” says Kardashian who plans to broach some tough subjects on her new chat fest. And she says the reason people respond to her is because she genuinely cares about the answer.

“I’m not asking to be condescending or malicious, I’m curious,” Kardashian told reporters at the Television Critics Press Tour in Pasadena, California. “It’s coming from a good place. I think people feel that from me, so they normally answer the questions I ask. But I like the good questions.”

Kocktails with Khloé is different from the E! show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, because the latter is just about the Kardashian/Jenner clan. The new show is going to be open to interactions with people from all different walks of life—as long as they are interesting.

“I want to keep it very versatile,” Kardashian says. “I like to say it’s like a little dinner party with about three or four different people. But still I want the conversations to be really raw and gritty and honest and natural. So it’s still going to be naughty and risqué, but that’s why we’re doing it for late night, because that’s more me.”

In each episode, celebrity guests— including Khloé’s friends and family—will join her in the kitchen and around the table for a lively dinner party, where engaging and relevant conversations will pair with cooking, party games and, of course, “Kocktails.”

“[The conversation will be] tailored to the guests we have on for that evening,” Kardashian says. “The show’s really light and fun. It’s not so serious of a show, but then we have had serious moments here or there. I want people to feel our heart, but also feel fun. I want people to want to come on this show, and not feel like we’re attacking them with all these serious questions.”

Taped in Los Angeles, the non-traditional set for Kocktails with Khloé is designed to replicate an intimate home environment; as such, it will feature a functional kitchen, dining area and living spaces—but it will not include a studio audience like normal talk shows.

“We’ve built a set that pretty much mimics how my house looks and feels,” Kardashian says. “So people who have gone to my home—or even just watch Keeping Up With—will see it’s like a replica of my home, so you get really comfortable and you feel it’s very cozy and house-like.”

In addition, Kardashian will be joined by Chef Sharone Hakman who will collaborate on menus and assist in entertaining, so viewers will get to see them prepping the hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.

“We’ll have recipes on the website for whatever we had that day,” she adds. “And it’ll be on my app. I’ll be having a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff.”

Kocktails with Khloé premieres tonight at 10 p.m. ET on FYI.
