Donna L. in Simi Valley, California, asks:
Is there any benefit to eating whole fruits and vegetables as opposed to juicing them?
Marilyn responds:
Definitely! It’s difficult to get enough fiber in our modern, highly-processed diets, and juicing is one of those processes: It removes the precious pulp, which contains much of the insoluble fiber. To get full benefit from your fruits and veggies, use a blender (instead of a juicing machine) or enjoy them whole.
