Happy birthday, Whoopi Goldberg! The prolific actor, comedian, and View host turns 60 on Nov. 13.
Goldberg made her major cinematic break when she starred in The Color Purple in 1985. She went on to appear in dozens of critically acclaimed movies, TV shows, plays, and stand-up acts. Goldberg won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 1990’s Ghost, and she’s one of the few entertainers to have won Academy, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Awards.
