Nia Vardalos and John Corbett return for the sequel to the hit romcom My Big Fat Greek Wedding — and there is another Big Fat Wedding in the works — but not one that you would expect.
In the trailer, we see that Toula’s (Vardalos) marriage to non-Greek Ian (Corbett) is a happy one, but the couple is stressed trying to find time for themselves as they raise a teenage daughter, who like her mother before her, feels smothered by her Greek family.
When she breaks the news that she is heading off to college in Florida, Texas or New York, Toula’s father Gus (Michael Constantine) points out that “payback is a b—h!”
The cast also includes Lainie Kazan, Gia Carides, Joey Fatone, Elena Kampouris, Alex Wolff, Louis Mandylor, Bess Meisler, Bruce Gray, Fiona Reid, Ian Gomez, Jayne Eastwood, Mark Margolis and Andrea Martin.
