Breaking: Justin Timberlake Will Perform With Chris Stapleton at the CMAs

A little bit country and a little bit rock and roll.

That seems to be the theme of this year’s CMA Awards. First it was announced that Keith Urban would be joined onstage by John Mellencamp. Then, Thomas Rhett announced he’d be performing his hit “Crash and Burn” with Fall Out Boy.

Now comes some news that is sure to bring “Sexy Back” to the CMAs: Justin Timberlake will accompany Chris Stapleton for a performance. That’s right. JT. That Justin Timberlake.

While the two have yet to confirm which song they will perform, our imaginations are already running wild. Could Stapleton, who’s known for his traditional country styling, and the “Suit and Tie” wearing Timberlake bring back “Bye Bye Bye”?

We’ll have to tune in to ABC, Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST to find out.
