The Duchess of Cambridge has certainly made an impression with her return to the public eye after a summer of maternity leave, during which she lived quietly with 2-year-old Prince George and baby Princess Charlotte at Amner Hall in Norfolk.
Now it looks like Kate is here to stay once more. The royal appeared with her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup, at which the three guests of honor cheered on England at the opening match against Fiji.
The royal blue shade of Kate’s Reiss coat was a lovely contrast to her brunette locks, which she recently had styled into bangs.
Kate and William were pictured smiling at each other during the match, and the couple listened proudly to the speech a bearded Prince Harry gave before the match kicked off.
“Across the country, regardless of age, background, or beliefs, this nation, which gave rugby to the world in 1823, will join together and celebrate the game like never before,” Harry said, before declaring, “Game on!”
Kate made her first post-baby solo engagement on September 17, when she visited the Anna Freud Centre in London, wearing a $1,595 Ralph Lauren houndstooth dress and showing off her new hairstyle properly for the first time.
